As the administrator of a local private health care company, you have been asked to prepare a brief presentation concerning the weekly salaries (listed below) of the company’s employees.   You will have to present a summary of the weekly salaries to both the stockholder’s meeting and to the employee union. Use the dataset, “Salaries”, and assume all entries are valid.

• Provide a brief written summary of your presentation to the following two groups. Provide one graphical representation of the weekly salaries and include numerical support in your summary.
  • Stockholders who are interested in keeping expenses down.
  • Employee union who are interested in keeping salaries high
  • In a separate paragraph, explain why you selected the summary statistics that you did for each group

Answer: In descriptive statistics, summary statistics are used to summarize a set of observations, in order to communicate the largest amount of information as simply as possible. Salaries variable is contineous variable.
