The difference between training and performance consulting-

Training is a reactive response to a performance problem. The company or organization takes the responsibility to solve this problem by providing training to the employees.

In contrast, performance consulting is a proactive response to a performance problem. It provides training and non-training both type of strategies to solve the problem. It tries to identify the problem and the causes behind the problems and then makes strategies for the solution.
