Explain the difference between a platelet vs clotting problem

• Coagulopathy is the condition delaying the clotting time due to deficiency of clotting factors
• Platelet disorder are characterised by increased bleeding time, purpuric rashes along with non hematological effects like low immunity. Platelet disorder can be due to increased or decreased platelet count and altered platelet function.
• Excess bleed due to platelet disorder can be controlled through pressure. This is not seen in clotting disorders.
• So the difference between platelet and clotting disorder is as follows
