Natural selection is a process whereby the best genes are carried on to the next generations. The result of the process whereby genes are successfully reproduced is called evolution. To what extent does this process explain love? What are some of the criticisms of this process as it relates to love and hate? What is your response to those criticisms? Can you explain?
Natural selection is the process by which the organism carries the best genes in order to make the next generation better. Love and hate are as much as social as they are intimate. People, especially leaders had to fight and induce hatred towards enemy people which happens till today. They also had to love and protect their citizens thus making them love their country and people. So, until today, we could witness this trend in history. Human beings evolved from animals but they carried hate which is equated with aggression which is very much needed for the organism's survival. So, in my opinion, love and hate are the two most important elements that are purposely selected during the process of evolution.
