How to demonstrate homosexuality as moral by using Kantian Ethics(Deontological Theories)
Deontological theories focus on principles and rules rather than outcomes. Kant Theory has moral dimensions. His theory is based on his views that human beings have unique capacity for rationality and no other animal has such a power or ability to reason. This very ability according to Kant's views make human beings obliged to follow duties and moral laws. According to Kant, Humans;s emotions and inclinations should not play any role in moral actions and motivation behing actions should be moral obligations.
To Quote Kant from one of his work titled- GROUNDWORK OF METAPHYSICS OF MORALS-" therefore, every rational being must so act as if he went through his maxim always a legislating member in the universal kingdom of ends".
Now, Kant was a believer of Natural Law theory, For him homosexuality was a crime of flesh and it degrades human beings below the level of animals. Deontological theories hold that some acts may lead to admirable actions but they are always bad. Kant was in tune with his era and had contempt for homosexuality- which at that time was going against moral obligations.
