Answer #1

The term "Thematic Analysis" is related to themes. To understand the concept of thematic analysis we have to first understand what is meant by qualitative research? A research that gathers and performs tasks on non-numerical data. It seeks to interpret meaning from these data to help us understand social life through the study of targeted populations. In qualitative research field thematic analysis is widely used. It is a foundational method of analysis used for examining, analyzing and pinpointing patterns within data. Themes are patterns across data sets that are important to the description of a phenomenon and are associated to a specific research question. Thematic analysis allows for rich, detailed and complex description of your data. For example, it goes beyond simply counting phrases or words in a text and moves on to identifying implicit and explicit ideas within the data.
