Processed foods carry the following health risk.

Obesity- Processed foods contain high sugar, salt and fat and low nutrients making the person gain unhealthy weight and obese.

Heart disease- Processed foods have trans fatty acids making the person 30% more prone to heart disease.

Cancer - Processed foods increases the chance of getting pancreatic cancer by 67%, as they contain more carcinogenic properties.

Liver damage- Fructose content is high in processed sweet foods. Excess of which causes liver damage.

Brain damage- Processed foods have artificial ingredients and colouring such as Diacetyl which damages brain health and may also cause Alzheimer's disease.

Apart from the above, they are also known to cause diabetes, stroke etc.
