Socioeconomic status had an important role in the health and health outcome. Socioeconomic status of an individual or community made greater impact on the health of the people in the community.

Our socioeconomic status determine the food habit and also the lifestyle of our own. As we know most of the diseases or health issues are occurs due to those unhealthy food habits and lifestyle factors. If we are from a high socioeconomic group the food should contain high in protein and fat and also junk foods are also included in the diet in a larger quantity. And also if from a low socioeconomic group there should be lacking many of the necessary nutritional contant. So it will affect the health badly.

Likewise in case of lifestyle data is determined by the nature of job and social factors. Sedentary job decreases the activty or exercise levels. So we easily get comorbidities such as hypertention, diabetes, cholesterol etc.

Not only socioeconomic data determine our lifestyle and food habit it also affect the home and environmental conditions. So a poor socioeconomic condition may leads to increased chance of getting infections. Mostly TB like bacterial infections or airborn disease are spread.

So all those says that socioeconomic data of an individual or community had a role in the health and health outcome.
