Milgram's prime agenda through his experiment was to prove the obedience to authority trait carried by human being psychology. He was trying to prove that any human being who belonged to any class or profession had this obedience property that would be exhibited even if it was against their conscience. Before this experiment, there was a general question on certain individuals and their team on whether they were blindly following the orders of their authority figures which has led them to commit an action that is unjustifiable from a society's moral standpoint
