Answer #1

Answer- Topic-1- Eat mostly plants, especially leaves

Michael Pollen has mentioned in his book about diiferent rules of eating. He has said that eating lots of fruits and vegetables reduces the risk of various dangerous diseases. It is completely true. We should eat the rich quantity of vegetables and fruits to stay healthy and fit. Junk and oily food should be avoided completely. If we eat lot of fresh and green vegetables, the risk of deaths due to several diseases like heart attack, cancer etc would be decreased. Being vegetarian is always beneficial. It is found that vegetarians have long life than non- vegetarians.

Topic-2- You are what what you eat eats too

It is generally said that we are what we eat. But according to Pollen, " we are what what we eat eats too". The food we eat has great effects on our health. We can not seperate our food from our health, also the health of the food can not be seperated with its environment. While talking about healthy food, we need to keep in mind regarding soil quality, diet and health of the animal and plant. But today, people only care for the price of the food and want to purchase cheapest food items. We need to be very careful while purchasing our food items. The food items should be organic and purchased from farmer market.

Topic -3- Eat well-grown food from healthy soils-

Healthy food products are grown in healthy soil which is full of bacteria, fungi, minerals and organic substances. Healthy soils also have 25% water and 25% air. All these things are essential to develop healthy plants. Using pesticides while growing plants are not good and they also damage the quality of soil. A soil full of chemicals can not grow nutritious food. So, its always required to grow plants in healthy soil to get natural nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium and magnisium. We need to eat the essential minerals for a healthy life which can only be grown in healthy soils.
