Level of education – There might be times where scientific knowledge of curbing fires or accidents might be useful to a neighbourhood. In such cases, the fire department can rely on the knowledge of the community. Also, the number of people who are not familiar with basic safety rules can be found and they can be instructed about these techniques that might be helpful someday.

Fire safety equipment – The fire department and members of the community ought to know where the nearest fire hose or safety equipment is. Families should invest in their personal fire cylinders and necessary equipment in case of emergencies.
