The portions that deal with family relations talk about diverse family forms: divorce, remarriage, making and playing with friends. Pick one of these 4 items and discuss the impact you believe it has on childhood development.
Changing forms of families affect the quality of family life. Change in family dynamics does not only affect family life but also affects each individual member of the family who contributes to the quality of family life. I reckon, divorce has the most major impact on childhood development. When parents separate, it is the most difficult thing for a child to accept and adjust to. Until yesterday his parents were together and all of a sudden they have separated and he has to make a choice of living with one of them instead both. It is very hard for a child to accept that his parents are no longer together. Though the parents don't love each other any longer, but the child loves both his parents immensely and vice-versa. It is difficult for the child to adjust living with one parent and seeing the other only during vacations. The child will show signs of anxiety and depression if he hasn't coped up well. It would affect a child's adult personality as well where he would always fear marriage ending in a divorce. If parents get divorced, it changes the entire dynamics of a family life. Their life is not the same any longer.
