Anti-pornography laws have frequently been challenged in court under First Amendment protections. What is your position on this issue?
The First Amendment to the constitution notes that, citizens are free to exercise speech and that congress will not prohibit the freedom of speech. Thus, anti-pornography laws have been challenged in court under the First Amendment protections act. A citizen should be entitled to freedom of speech, however, in the form of pornography, in my opinion is not quite right. Sexual desires which are sheer fantasies are often manifested in pornography. A lot of content in the porn is offensive. It sometimes includes little children who are barely five to eight years old just to satisfy fantasies of a pedophile. Pedophilia is not healthy and porn must not exhibit such offensive content and encourage individuals to indulge in it. Thus, my stand on anti-pornography laws stays corrected. It must not be challenged under the First Amendment protection, especially under freedom of speech.
