Subject- Reading

Grade- 2nd and 3rd

Objectives- Reading is the psychophysical process so that students shall be able to read words with appropriate pronunciation.

Lesson-

1-    Introduction- write a word on the board. Ask your student to tell what you have written. If someone answer ask student about how they do read other words.

2-    Instruction- write many words on the board and ask students one by one. Tick the right answer and pronunciation. With the help of students ask some question about understanding level of reading.

Define words you have written on board and also see the words of student’s text books.

Guided Practice-

·        Pass out the following supplies of physical model of alphabets and words.

·        Instruct the students to write and read the word you have given.

·        Give some jumble words and ask students to make the correct sequence.

Independent working time-

Give the time to student to read and write words.

Enrichment- Challenge students to ask and read new words.

Support- Identify the words read by students and make pronunciation along with them.

Assessment- Grade the word read by students and also grade their efforts.

Closing- Invite student to read their words as well as new one.
