You teach with a group of teachers who do not want to take the time for a pre-assessment. However you do feel it's necessary and would like to use one. It is necessary for all grade level teachers to do the same assessments? Why or why not level teachers to do the same assessments? Why or why not

There is a possibility that some teachers become victims of lethargy, as they feel it would require extra efforts to set a pre assessment and later the final assessment. And they feel it is a futile waste of energy whereas it really is not, and can help both students as well as teachers themselves.

This helps in saving time and continuing with new curriculum and equipping students better with a deep understanding of a course. But, the possibility of conflict always exists in these domains as humans tend to differ on certain ideals.
