Is there a significant sense in which humans are highly complex organic machines?
Humans are obviously far more complicated than any computer or computer program nowadays, but those things are fast approaching what humans can do (and have surpassed human abilities in certain areas). Then when you study how human beings actually work, and how they do what they do, you realize that we have hardware (the stuff that genetics gets you) and software (education and experiences), inputs (interaction with our environment) and outputs (how we affect our immediate environment). So it's tempting--and often helpful--to think about humans as complex machines. The question is: Is it just an analogy?Are we actually an organic machine?
Humans are made of different materials than most computers. Most computers are inorganic, but living organisms are organic. Does that make a difference? Why or why not?

Humans differs from machines and can not be considered as machines due to following facts:
- First and foremost important fact is that humans can reproduce but machines can not
- Human have ability to develop and explore
- Humans are living and develops aging with time
- Humans can not survive without food but machine does
- Human body requires to rest and sleep machines does not
- Last but not the least, human have made machines or computers to ease the life of humans but machines have no significance without human being
Based upon the above facts it can be concluded that the machines, computers and humans can be compared in some sense but there are lot of differences apart from organic and inorganic difference therefore the concept or idea can not be considered true.
