Answer #1

Anthropology is a discipline that aims to study human beings within different domains. It studies humans within various cultures, linguistic anthropology studies various language and its relations to human beings, etc. This means the basic aim is to understand humans operating within a social system. It possesses a holistic approach since studying humans within a system is not possible in isolation. Many aspects being studied may be related to others & go in hand in hand while making an impact on human life per se. For instance, the economic anthropology may be closely linked to the financial system of the locale that is being studied. Similarly the physical anthropology may be closely linked to the biological anthropology since the impact of various processes within the body lead to diseases in humans, etc.
