1. Occasionally famous people, such as fairly high-ranking politicians, are exposed for having engaged in some deviant activity – often sexual or criminal. How can we relate their behavior to control theory?

There are three types of controls.

1. Centralised control that is applicable to the beauracrats and politicians.

2. Decentralized control which is applicable in marketing field where lies are in abundant when they meet the competition.

3. Mixed control has both the characteristics of centralized and decentralized controls.

Politicians are supposed to be noble people who are selfless and who strive hard for the prosperity of the people who elected them. In recent times, the attachment towards people is decreasing and materialistic benefits such as, money, fame and power hide the eyes of the politicians. The crime they commit and the scandals they involved in are most of the times traps by the opposition parties. So the world has lost its true leaders and the leaders who we have are selfish without any bonding with the people or society. The worst thing is that they are not ashamed of it.
