Since it is an exploratory study, the variables cannot be dividedinto independent and dependent variables. Since there isn't a standardized scale to measure the above variables, observational method would be best suited for this study to measure the variables. An interview method can also be adopted to understand the respondent's perception of their popularity in class, friendship aand academic enthusiasm. Further, a survey/ questionnaire methos can be administeretd on the class to identify popularity and friendship.
