Emotional turbulence and social hostility are some of the
greatest components for teen suicide. Emotional turmoil is
definitely part of being a teen. This is an important part of our
lives where we are experimenting are trying to find ourselves.
Without access to important information, parents may fail to
recognize imminent risk, assuming that emotional turbulence is
typical and expected in teens.A combination of social hostility can
lead to distrust, distance, or even aggression.
Being in an emotional state can cause social hostility. Some
causes can be divorce, emotional neglect, and abuse to name a
few.
Being among family and peers, or extracurricular sport, social,
or religious associations are likely to have an outlet to help them
deal with their feelings.
Poor relationships with parents or peers, and feelings of
social isolation can make the teens emotionally vulnerable leading
to social hostility as well.Even trying to be accepted by a group
of peers in school and college also can can take a toll and
sometimes facing body shaming ,fat shaming,racism etc. can make a
teenager take extreme steps in impulsivity and anger leading to
either self harm or even harm to others.
There is no far gone conclusion on why teens commit suicide
it's different for each and every one of them but yes,to an extent
it is a combination of both for most of the teenagers since
emotions are extremely intense during this phase and can make a
person attempt suicide or even substance abuse.
