This paper was based on the attempt in changing of prejudiced attitudes that people would be having as they would be thinking about the messages That would be persuading them. This emphasised on simpler processes as well as the forms that are elaborate requiring higher processes of thinking. It was observed that in situations that had lower message elaboration, the changes that would be produced would be of greater resistance, such that it would lead to similar changes through mechanisms that are less thought out. Whereas, processes of high elaboration resulted in reduction of prejudice. Also, there is reduction of prejudice as there would attentionand involvement into diversity groups, with obtaining more information of the different social groups.
