Answer #1

Although the birth of Protestant Reformation is religious, the course of the reformation took multiple dimensions such as, political, intellectual and cultural. This would mean that people were increasingly becoming dissatisfied with the continuous domination and oppression of the Catholic Church. It sought to fight the immoral and unholy practices that the Catholic Church was practicing which in reality led to the birth of Protestantism. The reformation soon occupied other fields such as, arts, music, painting, science, politics thus, spreading all over the Europe gaining more support and brought down the mighty Catholic Church to reconsider their practices. Thus, it’s true it’s not only the religious reasons but it’s also more important issues of that time which made the protestant movement strong.
