What advantages and what disadvantages exist with regard to recording and televising trial proceedings. The video recording and televising of jury trials should be permitted as this makes the jury very responsible due to the fear of being caught for malpractice. However, the disadvantage of this is the fact that this will make issues out of no issues and rake controversy over petty issues when everybody will view and make the job of people in the court very tough as they will be under the lens all the time. The recordings should be done but they may not be aired on television. they should be done as a proof of fair trail but just as a proof and not be aired as this will generate controversy.
