Why must a researcher have a good knowledge of research methodology and statistical procedures to be able to use computer software to analyze results of a study?

Research methodology is systematic way to solve problem.A resercher must have good back ground knowledge about research methodology for using computer softer for analyzing result of a study.it is suitable method for formulating research problem and secientifically solve the research problem .for the smooth conduct of research and computer analysis of findings the resercher must know not only the research method but also methodology which obvious contains the various steps that are generally adopted by a resercher in studying the research problem with a suitable rational.

Good knowledge of statistical procudure also helps to use SPSS software for analyzing and findings the data and helps to understand how to calculate mean , standard deviation , person r, t-ratio, anova , factorical analysis .it also helps to understand which technique are more relevant or which are not for application of computer software .Research methodology also specify why a research problem has undertaken in what way , why the hypothesis is formulated and why a particular statistical technique for analyzing the data has been adapted .

So a proper knowledge of research metjomethod and statistical procedure helps effectivly to use computer software for efficiently work process .while a researcher will used Qualititive data analysis (QDA) software , he must know about about qualititive data .so research methodology helps to know it.SPSS data analysis software package, STATA etc which can only applied after effectivly gain knowledge about statistical procedure.

So it is clear that a resercher must have good knowledge of research methodology and statistical procedure to able to use computer software to analyze result of a study.
