Answer #1

India has witnessed and experienced some of the greatest whistle blowers who did their job the best and brought into light the wrongdoings, unethical matters like corruption, brines etc.

Shanmugam Manjunath, an Indian Oil Corporation manager was working at Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh (a staee/ a province in India).

He was twenty seven years old when he was murdered because he had sealed the petrol pumps that were involved in sales of the adulterated petrol and diesel.

He consistently brought such malpractices to the notice of the seniors in India Oil Corporation, Government, public in general and the media as well.

Such malpractices eventually prove to be a loss of the common man. Shanmugam Manjunath was therefore the Hero for the common men/ citizens.
