Through lifespan considerations the nurse understands that throughout their life, humans change on a continuous basis. With the changing situations, people adapt and grow, which in turn impact their coping abilities.
one of the theories that help me in my working is the psychosocial developmental theory by Erickson, which includes eight stages of psychocial development, explained from infancy to ages 65+.
