Based on your personal beliefs should the u.s. be regarded as a Christian nation?

Answer #1

No. US should not be regarded as a Christian nation. In fact, none of the countries should be tagged on the basis of a religion. In US, We do observe high prejudices amongst the people regarding Christianity, as being one of the most superior religions, without even giving it a formal declaration of being a Christian majority. Imagine the situation, if it were actually declared to be a predominantly Christian nation. US does not only contain people from one religion, but there are people from all over the world who exist there and carry out their daily living, jobs etc. There would be increased discrimination against such people of different ethnicities that survive in the US, adding salt to injury. Hence, US should not be declared as a Christian nation.
