Hello I am studying for a test concerning magnetic fields and I can’t seem to solve these questions!
First question: Flow density at a point of distance A from a long straight conductor is 38?T. How big is the flow density at a point of distance 4A from the same conductor? Ignore the earths magnetic field
The seccond question: An electron comes at a speed of 4.5 Mm / s in perpendicular to a homogeneous magnetic field whose flow density is 32 ?T.
a) Calculate the force that affects the electron and indicate how it is directed.
b) Calculate the acceleration.
c) What is the radius of the penalty arc the electron describes in the magnetic field?
d) At what speed does the electron leave the magnetic field?

Hello all! I am working with induced electromotive forces, induced magnetic fields and induced currents. However, I am really struggling with how to use the right hand rule to find the direction of induced current once you have found the direction of the induced magnetic field. This all is in relation to a change in flux over time within a metal loop. I understand how to get to finding the induced magnetic field through the loop in the prescence of...

A proton is accelerated through a potential difference of 10 kV and enters a uniform magnetic field at right angles. Calculate the value of the magnetic flux density necessary to move the proton in a circular path of radius 10 mm. [6] A piece of wire of cross-sectional area A and resistivity ρ is bent into a circular loop of radius r and placed in a magnetic field with its plane at right angles to the field. Determine the magnitude...

1) 2 point charges are separated by a distance of 8 cm. The left charge is 48 mC and the right charge is -16mC. Using a full sheet of paper: draw the 2 charges separated by 8cm, centered in the sheet. (if you are missing a ruler estimate 8cm as ⅓ a paper sheet length). [6] a) Draw field lines to indicate the electric fields for this distribution. [4] b) Draw 3 equipotential surfaces, 1 each, that pass: -Through the...
