Question

hidden variable theory applied on entire universe

hidden variable theory applied on entire universe

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Hidden variable theory was introduced by some physicists because sometimes known variables can't give the complete description of the system. The hidden variables can be inaccessible to us and thus are non detectable.

In the universe there are many things which are not known to human beings such as dark matter, dark energy, black holes. These things are still mysterious and not understood completely yet. So, these things can contain some hidden variables. On the Earth also, there are a lot of things which are not understood yet completely. Egypt. Mapemba effect, it shows that the hot water freezes earlier than cold water ( temperature difference is not more than 20°C ) This effect is partially explained but not completely, so there can be some hidden variables.

Assume that there are 1.03 × 1012 galaxies in the universe, that the average galaxy has a mass equivalent to 5.70 × 1011 average stars, and that an average star has a mass of 1 × 1030 kg. Ignoring dark matter, how much mass (in kilograms) does the universe contain? If the mass of an average particle of normal matter is 1 × 10–27 kg, how many particles are there in the entire universe?

The Anthropic Principle states that we find ourselves on this planet in this universe simply because we couldn't find ourselves in a non-habitable universe. In addition, physicists observe roughly twelve fundamental constants that seem to be fine tuned for us. How does the multiverse theory help to explain this mystery?
