Person 1 is hosting a party at his house and serving alcohol. Person 2 is at the party and gets drunk. Later, person 2 starts to drive and crashes into person 1 neighbor's fence. Is this person 1s fault because he was the one who served the alcohol?
No, it’s not the fault of first person. The second person has willingly come to the party and drinks alcohol. Alcohol is served in the party but it’s not compulsory on everybody to drink, neither the first person has asked intentially to the second person for drink heavily and then drive. The second person willingly drink so high that he lost his senses and go for drive. If he knows that he is taking alcohol, he should have stopped himself from driving. As he is not in his senses after alcohol, the crashes into neighbours fence is his mistake and he is liable to pay for the losses to the neighbour.
