Answer #1

This type of thing happening in today’s industry. I know a recent example where a firm is not willing to hire worker over 55 as the technology he Is suppose to learn a cutting edge , and firm thinks that it will be difficult for people above 55 to learn this technology.

This segregation is done depend on loss of learning capabilities of a individual due to age.

I think it is not legal. When hiring process is conducted every one who satisfied the qualification should get the chance to attend interview. The firm should design the training programme for people above 55 . As, due to the age restriction they can miss talent which can be handful for firm’s progress.
