For the purpose of this discussion, let us consider Nelson Mandela. Nelson was a South African revolutionary leader credited to have brought racial equality to his country.

Determination: Nelson was persistent and determined in his mission. His was not an easy mission but he fought like a lion. Even in the inhuman conditions of his 27 years in prison, he was committed to his goal and never gave up.

Energy Levels and Self-confidence: Nelson had a quick gait and was an excellent public speaker. His energy level was visible in his powerful and impactful speeches. He was a confident person, who always spoke his heart out, another reason why he was popular with the crowd.

Emotional maturity: Mandela never sought vengeance. His message was that of positivity and not vitriol. His emotional maturity is what separates him from other leaders.

Intelligence: Nelson was well-educated. He studied law at University of Witwatersrand. But he is also a prime example of how intelligence goes beyond formal education.

Integrity: Nelson Mandela is a figure known for his integrity. His moral character is revered by people all over the world. He was honest to his cause and never shied away from taking challenges to achieve his ultimate goal.

Sociability and interpersonal skills: One of the most striking qualities in Nelson was his interpersonal skills. He was approachable and never larger-than-life. This is one of the prime reasons behind the acceptability of his and his ideas by the masses.
