THE COMPETITIVE BEHAVIOUR RESPONSES OF TESCO:

Brand Marketing: In today's world companies most likely selling their brand just before their product. Same in TESCO which have very strong brand image with good quality, the product and services. TESCO continuously innovate and efficient operation with strategic expansion has made them largest and successful retailer. In order to increase customer satisfaction TESCO continuously add new products and services.

Tesco is also very loyal towards its customer it customize its needs according to the customer need and wants, it is bascially customer oriented company whivh make changes according to their customers taste and preference.

PRICE And PROMOTIONS: The key to Tesco achieved is the development of retail low prices and high quality with large customer experience service led to profit growth of the comapany. With their years of experience and power in the market in providing retail products and services, this promotes their corporate image and made them trustworthy company for their customer.

VALUE AND CHAIN ANALYSIS: This approach is given by Porter in 1985 is for managers thinking about resource and management and provide competetive advantage for a company to maximize its value while minimizing the cost.

INBOUND LOGISTICS: This is the earliest oppurtunity to creat goodwill in the market. This stage includes incoming materials, storage of goods, distributing the inputs to the product and services to make sure that they will delivered on time without any damages. And their main objective is to fulfill their customer demand on time with less cost, so the cost of lossess are not passed on to the customer.

Operations: The very main operation of Tesco is concerned with creating products and services which activities are service orientated. This involves machining, packing , maintaing and fulfill the stock. With the aim of appropriate and accurate ordering system, thus it helps in minimising the waste and increase the product availability.

Services: It is concerned with additinal services like installing , repairing and maintaining.
