Answer #1

Kabbalahistic literature has the same importance for Jews as Bible has for Christian, because Kabbalahistic literature was considered to be a received knowledge from God and that discussed that one day, a messiah will come and help with their rescue. During the sixteenth century, Jews were facing many challenges, exiles and other troubles. By, that time, this Kabbalahistic literature helped to generate a ray of hope for them and Jews kept believing that their messiah will come and they continued their fight for the survival. Hence, it is the Kabbalahistic literature that is considered important as it developed a home in Jews of that time and they kept believing their survival and fight for the justice.
