You are one who experienced in integration of Building Automation System (BAS), Access Control, Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) System and Addressable Fire Control & Monitoring System. a) Explain to your customer how the integration of BAS, Access Control, CCTV and Addressable Fire Control & Monitoring System can benefit them in term of energy management and monitoring for maintenance, security, and fire safety. b) Explain also how BAS to be used to control the HVAC system, lighting system, security and access system, fire safety system, and maintenance management.

Integrating BAS, Access Control, CCTV and Addressable Fire Control & Monitoring System can benefit a customer as he will be able to monitor the risks associated will all of the components on a single platform rather then analysing them separately. This will enable an organisation to have a close look on each of the minute components individually but on a common platform. It helps in making analysis how the risk associated with each of the components is interlinked with each other and how these components does affects the operation of the company. All these security system may require the common resources that if applied individually on the individual components may lead to the waste but however, if they are applied collaboratively through integration; then the maximum utilisation of the required resources could be achieved and hence the system would be effectively optimised in terms of the utilisation of the resources. In terms of security, one can control the access by the stakeholders and can identify and monitor them through CCTV. In case of the risk of fire through access, one can control the same by raising alarm and all these activities can be done over a single platform.
