forecasting can be accurate but not necessarily correct, right or wrong? please explain if possible an example so I.can fully understand.
Ans :- Forecasting can be generally defined as the prediction or a statement about an unknown and uncertain event , most often can take place but not necessarily would , a future evet.
Thus we can say that, in other words that forecast is a prediction of a future event which can be uncertain , it may vary in form or in its content
For example :- Weather forecasting can be done with the help of satellites but there is no certainty in the happening of that event . There is always a probability that the certain event may take place . That is if a heavy rainfall is predicted by the forecast department then it may be accurate but may not necessarily correct.
Therefore we can say that forecasting can be accurate but not necessarily correct.
