Homework Answers

Answer #1

I believe that out of all the PESTEL factors, Socio-cultural, ecological and technological factors are the most salient for the electric-vehicle segment in the car industry. Socio-cultural because the society needs to be open to accept the electric cars ahead of regular cars. Ecological because the electric cars must have the concern towards the natural environment and be able to fix issues such as global warming. Technological because currently electric cars are not well engineered, and it needs to be more technological sound to run properly. I do see a future for electric vehicles in the United States, because of various reason. First, that electric vehicles will be eco-friendly. And second that due to the scarcity of natural resources like petrol, diesel and gas, electric vehicles could be a good alternative.
