Answer #1

It was August 1619 when the American Salavry was born. Therefore August 2019 mark the 400th Anniversary year of the beginning of American Slavery. The campaign was designed to boost the tourism of Ghana and the event's name Year of Return even was named by Ghana's president to this celebration which was held in Washington DC  to send the message to the current generation of the African diaspora. Many critics said this 400th year of return to be aware of the past which is linked with the act of slavery and how we are doing it today in the present time. The third objective was to sensitize the people as in which direction we would like to move further.
