True or False. The Employment Polygraph Protection Act of 1988 makes it illegal for employers, other than the federal government, to engage in the use of lie detector testing under any circumstance.

True. The Employment Polygraph Protection Act protects an aspiring or present employee from any request by their employer to undergo a lie detector test during recruitment and after recruitment. It also protects the employees from any penalization or discrimination from any body on refusing to undergo such test. The only exception under this federal is for employees in governmental and security agencies.
