Answer #1

As a responsible medical assistant I will ask the following questions to the patient for the patient screening regarding the insurance:

  • First of all what's your name and age or date of birth?
  • Are you insured if yes then tell the name of the insurance company,
  • Is it primary insurance? If yes then other plan holders with relationship to you means patient,
  • What's the policy number or group ID number?
  • Address and contact details of the insurance company?
  • Are you having any secondary insurance then tell the details.

Thus such questions will be helpful to me while screening of patients regarding the insurance.
