Answer #1

ANSWER :- This is nothing but throat infection.antibiotics are used to treat this condition.

In pediatrics mostly used drug is pencillin or amoxillin.this drug dose is calculated based on the children weight.

Example amoxillin should be advised according to weight :- 100 mg / kg/day devides in 3 doses ,orally.

This drugs should be taken with full or empty Stomach. The liquid form Amoxicillin can be taken with mixed with milk, fruit juice.

The parents should be explained regarding dose of medication and the medication is given with full stomach or empty stomach.

Strep throat is communicable they need to take care ,while caring the child. And other children's may get if they contacted with child so careful monitorin is important ,this drugs should be taken 10 days period.
