Compare and contrast SWOT and PDSA. Which of these techniques is utilized in your facility, if any? What improvements have you seen occur through the implementation of these techniques? I How might your facility be improved through the utilization of one or both of these techniques?

A SWOT analysis is a high-level strategic planning model that helps organizations identify where they're doing well and where they can improve, both from an internal and external perspective. It is an acronym for “Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats.”

PDSA, or Plan-Do-Study-Act, is an iterative, four-stage problem-solving model used for improving a process or carrying out change. When using the PDSA cycle, it's important to include internal and external customers; they can provide feedback about what works and what doesn't.

Both these have less advantage in health care facilities.
