In this paper, you will compare and contrast pay structures used by two different businesses. For example, you could choose between Apple and Dell, Target and Kohl's, OR Walmart and Meijer’s. The businesses you compare should provide similar products and/or services and be in close proximity, such as the same city or state. Review articles and videos found throughout the course and/or search the Internet to find articles relating to how your two chosen organizations differ or are similar in compensation (wages and benefits). 1. Role of motivation

Apple : Products should be innnovative and of premium quality . Increase in revenue and customer satisfaction is also other motivator

Dell : Timely delievery of goods , satisfied customers and reduction in operational cost

2. Organizational strategies are very well met by the employees of both the organization . Apple is known for its premium products and good customer service to all its customers . Apple also launches new products on regular basis, thus keeping up its innovative culture.

While Dell is also known for customizing the products as per the customer requirements and budget. It is known for made to build kind of products.

3. Employee communication method used in Apple and Dell are almost similar , which are :

  • mail communication
  • face to face communication
  • video conferencing

All these methoda are very effective and are used on the situation and requirement.

4. Some of the common employee engagement activities are:

Apple : Outdoor activities, cultural merger where employees from different countries meet and interact with each other . APert from this , there are festival celebrations also

Dell : Conferences and business conclaves , festival celebrations, cultural festivals

Employees are quite satisfied in both the organizations
