Drugs are intended for human use and evaluated by FDA center for drug evluation to ensuer that drugs are marketed safe and effective. It is the responsibility of the company seeking approval to market a drug to conduct laboratories and animal tests on the safety and effectiveness of a proposed new drug and then to submit information to FDA for review by CDER physicians, statisticians, chemists, pharmacologists and other scientists. Some of the recommendations like acrylamide in foods,by such recommendations it would be helpful to mitigate human health risks from exposure to acrylamide. It is intended to suggest a range of possible approaches to reducing acrylamide levels and not to identify specific recommended approaches.THe FDA will update this guidance as needed to reflect new developments in the field of acrylamide reduction.
