Answer #1

1. Changes in bowel and bladder function:

Mainly constipation and incontinence. Constipation may be due to lack of movements, medication and inadequate fluid intake. Incontinence may be caused by relaxed muscles related to aging.

2. Confusion, restlessness and agitation: Restlessness and agitation are common in dying person. This may be due to less blood supply to brain tissues, dehydration and sometimes due to metabolic changes.

3. Changes in skin temperature and body color: ln dying body blood moves away from extremities to the vital organs. There will be cool extremities and changes in body temperature. There will be high fever as death approaches.
