It has the association with a more severe phenotype in women that were either HER2+ or lymph node positive at diagnosis, and/or tended to recur or develop distant metastases. For instance , methylation of the tumor suppressor gene APC is strongly associated with a specific subset of tumors that were both ER+ and HER2+.

High calorie foods helps a mother to gain weight, but if it is low on nitrients it affects the weight of fetus in the following ways:

  • Poor fetal brain development which makes up the bulk of fetus weight.
  • Unhealthy birth weight as required protein for growth isnt adequately attained through low nutrition diet.
  • Increases the risk of many birth defects, thereby leading to increased chances of low birth weight
