If we plan to serve on a committee to establish an STD prevention program we should ensure that we generate awareness regarding the same using media and community. We should actively lobby for funding by the government for such programs.

We should educate the community as well as the target population about the route of spreading of the diseases of various types of STD, for example in case of HIV; direct contact with body fluids. Their prevention strategy such as having safe sex (use of condoms)
