What is the possible impact of electro-magnetic pulse?

  • What is the possible impact of electro-magnetic pulse?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Answer: The electromagnetic pulse is also known as the transient electromagnetic disturbance. It is a kind of bursting of the electromagnetic energy. It can be natural Occuring or man made. When the thermonuclear bomb is explode, there are tremendous amount of energy is being released. This causes severe short term as well as long term damage. The intense electromagnetic pulse can damage the electronic systems, it also damages the communication system or cause issues in the radar etc.

Faraday's law states that a changing magnetic field will create an electric field that curls around the magnetic field. To quantify this, we use the expression of flux (Φ) which is the magnetic field strength multiplied by the area (A) it’s passing through. This is given by: Φ = ?? The electric field is applied to the outside edge of this area. This created an electric potential that is referred to as an electro-motive force (EMF, ε). Faraday’s law can...
