Propose an ethical solution to the dilemma below.

Dilemma: A physician allowed a compromise of professional boundaries in several ways. He acquiesced to a patient’s inappropriate requests for narcotics, and he entered into a romantic relationship with the patient. In the end, the physician paid a great price for his actions. It is unethical to have a romantic relationship with the patient without terminating the patient-physician relationship. The boundaries of ethical concerns regarding a medical professional do not allow a doctor or a physician to have an inappropriate or romantic relationship with any patient. It is not just unethical to do, but can have some potential consequences which may ultimately lead to damage of both patient and the physician. According to the medical boundaries of the physician, if you want to have a romantic sexual relationship with the patient, he must first terminate the agreement as the contract between the patient and the name as a doctor and patient. It is also very appropriate and illegal to fulfill the narcotics kind of request of the patients. There should be a professional relationship between the physician, a doctor, and a patient without any romantic or sexual side, which would be very inappropriate.
