If you pick-up a magazine, watch TV, or listen to the radio, you're bound to encounter an advertisement promoting a new diet and promising weight loss. Some of these may be based on sound nutritional practices, while others may be fads that come and go. Search the Internet for information about a diet that you've heard of and want to learn more about.

In your initial post state the name of the diet you're investigating, describe it, and explain why you think it would/wouldn't work.

Answer #2

Paleo diet

It is a good way to eat, one that practically abandons all sugar consumption. For a Paleo diet the only sugar comes from fruit. Abandoning sugar isn't the only stipulation, however. The Paleo diet also excludes the processed foods and grains. The less carbohydrates in your body contribute to decreased glucose levels. So your body will then start using fat as its source of fuel. The dairy is also eliminated in a Paleo diet. And what to eat? A Paleo diet consists of fish, fowl, vegetables, fruits, nuts, oils, sweet potatoes, eggs and beef, provided the beef is fed with grass and is not fed with grain

I think this diet will work because sugar intake is zero so automatically fat will use as energy and protein level is high so this diet will definately work.
